Beautiful Washington State Wedding at Apple Orchard and Cellars
I met Hailee and Luigi at their engagement photoshoot, in Wilmington, North Carolina. I remember Hailee was a little nervous before the engagement sesh, as she hadn’t been photographed before. I calmed her nerves and promised her I would make sure she looked great (omg, seriously, she’s stunning, it was easy to do lol.) and I would show her everything I was getting as we went so she would know she wasn’t looking just any old way. (If you want NOT boring and regular as hell couples photos, I am your girl! I’m a fantastic wilmington couples photographer option for the couple that has never been photographed before!)
We worked beautifully together, the images were stunning, and following the session with them, Hailee asked if I would be willing to travel to Yakima, Washington for their wedding, as well. Obviously, I obliged, and I was so grateful to have the opportunity to work with such incredible clients again.
Their wedding was at Gilbert Cellars, in Yakima, Washington. I flew into Seattle and my heart was so full. Hailee and Luigi’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous, with touches of whimsy and a very classic, romantic, and timeless feel. This wedding was an actual DREAM. Every second of it was what I want my entire wedding photographer life to be like. It was so dreamy and classy and romantic. Everything about this wedding felt like true love.
The getting ready space at Gilbert Cellars was absolutely gorgeous with all the shadows and pockets of beautiful light you could ask for. Hailee’s magical cousin, Sydney, was in the wedding and just so happens to be one of the best at hair that I’ve ever witnessed in my life. I mean, really, she is truly a hairy godmother. Gilbert Cellars was a stunning venue, with cafe lights strung about and just an incredible atmosphere. I was happy to bring back some 35 mm film photos from their wedding as well, since I am a film photographer! I absolutely love being a travel wedding photographer, and I really love doing wedding photography near Seattle, Washington!! Also going to these new venues and meeting all the new people and wonderful vendors is a really nice bonus!!
“Ashley was the absolute BEST to work with. We booked her for our engagement shoot and she seriously killed it, so we thought we would be stupid not to book her for our wedding.
