With soaring ceilings, exposed brick walls, and the vibe of a romantic city escape, Brooklyn Arts Center is the perfect Wilmington venue for couples who want history, art, and soul woven into their wedding day. It’s urban, chic, and endlessly photogenic.
Where is the wedding venue?
The Brooklyn Arts Center is located between 4th and Campbell St in Historic Downtown Wilmington, in the heart of Wilmington’s coolest neighborhood, the north side, the Brooklyn Arts District. Home to breweries and bottle shops, cafes and coffee shops, the city’s hippest dive bars, excellent eateries, upscale condos, and renowned art studios, the BAC is a two-minute drive to the downtown hotels, clubs, and restaurants.
Is there on-site parking?
There is plenty of free street parking all around the venue, and there is a lot one block east of The Brooklyn Arts Center on Campbell Street.
How many people can the venue accommodate?
The church can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests with a DJ and up to 220 guests with a band. The Annex can comfortably accommodate up to 140 guests with a DJ and up to 90 guests with a band.
What’s cool about this venue?
Urban, cool couples LOVE The Brooklyn Arts Center. With so many available spaces to hold your ceremony + reception (Church+ Manse Suite, The Annex + 1910 suite, Courtyard (ask about tent rentals!), Bell Tower Tasting Room) there is something for every vibe + taste. As a Wilmington Wedding Photographer, I love the Brooklyn Arts Center for the variety of looks it offers, but also for the rich urban feel it provides. There is nothing like photographing a wedding in downtown Wilmington!
